Proof of my dorkdom.

A clue pertaining to Buffy was on Jeopardy today. (Nicholas Brendon played this character on the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

I screamed.

Duude no one got it though. I was mad. COME ON. The category is called "X-Men"!

QUESTION TIME. :o

1. Which song do you prefer, #1 or #40? Oh dear...it pains me to say #1...I love #40 too, but Amelie just powns all.

2. Have you ever listened to #12 continuously on repeat? No...though I've listened to the artist on continuous repeat

3. What album is #26 from? "When Your Heartstrings Break". But to me, "Tamara's Massive Beulah Mix"

4. What do you think about the artist who did #15? Hecka amazing composer/quartet.

5. Is #19 one of your favorite songs? For quite some time it was a guilty pleasure favorite, yes.

6. Who does #38 remind you of? Um...no one.

7. Does #20 have better lyrics or music? I think I'd have to go with music definitely...half the time you can't really hear the lyrics.

8. Do any of your friends like #3? Yep. Thanks Last.fm Taste-o-meter for telling me which ones.

9. Is #33 from a movie soundtrack? Nope.

10. Is #18 overplayed on the radio? It was wayy back in the day. Ah the nineties...

11. What does #21 remind you of? A swanky, smoky Chicago nightclub with a lounge singer who has a gardenia in her hair. Chya.

12. Which song do you prefer, #5 or #22? This is evil, making me choose between a great song and Gorillaz. I might have to go with #5 though...#22 isn't my favorite Gorillaz song.

13. What album is #17 from? Requiem for a Dream soundtrack

14. When did you first hear #39? The truth comes out...in the Step Up trailer.

15. When did you first hear #7? Everywhere, but I went into my Nino Rota Romeo and Juliet Love Theme craze after it haunted me for months after Sasha Cohen's free program to it.

16. What genre is #8? Uhh...electronic?

17. Do any of your friends like #14? I think.

18. What color does #4 remind you of? Mint. Why I don't know.

19. Have you ever blasted #11 on your stereo? Nope.

20. What genre is #37? Folk/acoustic?

21. Can you play #13 on any instrument? I haven't tried...but I could possibly rock it on the clarinet.

22. What is your favorite lyric from #30? "No more synthetic fighting". I know it's supposed to be kind of metaphorical and deep, but I can't help but giggle.

23. What is your favorite lyric from #23? "I choose not to be bruised tonight"

24. Would you recommend #24 to your friends? Yeaahhh!

25. Is #2 a good song to dance to? No. Unless one's idea of dancey fun is a song that would be good to commit suicide to.

26. Do you ever hear #16 on the radio? Nope.

27. Is #32 more of a "nighttime" or "daytime" song? Probably night. Fasho.

28. Does #36 have any special meaning to you? Gives me chills when I hear it...Reminds me of playing it in Austria!

29. Do any of your friends like #31? Yep.

30. Is #25 a fast or slow song? Fast.

31. Is #35 a happy or sad song? Happy I suppose.

32. What is one of your favorite lyrics from #9? "You make the sound of laughter and sharpened nails seem softer"

33. Is #34 better to listen to alone or with friends? Alone I reckon.

34. Where did you first hear #27? On my computer.

35. Name 3 other songs by the artist who did #29: A Nervous Tic Motion of The Head To the Left, Untitled, Fake Palindromes

36. Do you know all the words to #6? Sadly...yes. I DO know all the words to "Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock!"

37. Does #28 have better lyrics or music? Lyrics.

38. What album is #10 from? Romance Bloody Romance...whoot!

Recent Stuffeys from Livejournal Pt. 2

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!

...oh Danny Radcliffe.

Recent Stuffeys from Livejournal Pt. 1

From Livejournal:

Taken from the coolest Chiu around, these are the five questions that Jason asked me...then anyone reading this comment if you want me to ask you five questions. Whoot.

1. You obviously have a fuckton of things going on. Which activity would you say is your real passion?

Do I have to pick one? As much as I bitch about it, I honestly love them all...I'm the kind of person that tries to do everything I possibly can and has a lot of varied interests at the same time. If I REALLY had to pick I'd go with (I'm assuming the question refers to my extracurriculars):
Clarinet/youth orchestra brings me back to my band geek roots. I love it. As cheesy as it sounds, there really is no other feeling than finishing a roaring last note of a Tchaikovsky after playing your absolute heart out. Yeah, the lips might have indentations in them from your teeth, your breath may come out in painful gasps, the fingers may be cramped, your vision blurry...but it honestly doesn't matter.

2. What is your favorite theme park?

I haven't been to many theme parks. I think I'll go with the classic Disneyland. Man I love Disney/Disneyland. Best memories there when our Crocker Symphonic Band performed there and running around Disneyland during school days with my friends...amazing. Sprinting through Disneyland, frantic to make it before the deadline clutching my good friend's sodden wallet retrieved from the bottom of a log ride...amazing.

3. Explosions vs. implosions. Which one do you prefer?

Implosions. Don't rightly know why. But definitely implosions.

4. Why do you enjoy dance so much?

It's kind of weird because like I didn't seriously start dancing until freshman year/never had proper, proper training. I've always been fixated on like little things that I find beautiful. I can't particularly explain it, but like a certain note, the blending of paints, or like a particular fabric. I've always been awed by the grace of dancers and always wanted to be like that. Plus, there's that whole thing about being able to kind of play different roles up on stage and the precision of it. Weird answer, kinda rambly but yeah...I'm not quite sure if that's all of it, but I think so.

5. Do you actually think you look like Lucy Liu?

Nope. Not at all.

I'll be making some posts public on Livejournal, so you can hop on over...kind of interesting topic posed by Jason where we do random/thoughtful interviewy questions.

I'm bringing it to Xanga...
